Google User Data (Clinician Calendar Connections)
Hera's clinicians can connect their Google Calendar so patients can book results-review calls with them. Patients never connect a Google account. When a clinician connects, Hera accesses their Google account through Nylas, our scheduling provider, and uses it only for these purposes:
- Calendar availability and events: to offer patients only the times the clinician is free.
- Creating calendar events: to add each booked call, with a video link, to the clinician's calendar.
- Email address and basic profile: to identify which clinician connected their calendar.
We use this data only to run booking. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and no person at Hera reads a clinician's calendar events. Calendar contents are not stored in Hera's database; Nylas processes them to work out availability, under its own security and privacy obligations.
A clinician can disconnect at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by emailing [email protected], and we will delete the connection on request.
Hera's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
